Dealing with the Hairy Potter injury 😏 in order to be able to embrace the opportunities that unfold on my trip has been a task the past 6 months. OMG it is a combined Prep 📝 and 🔍 Hunt 🔎 talk! That right ... it the follow up session for learning how to do a smokey eye 👁️ and my dive into trying to find a selfie stick 🤳🏻. Smokey eye session with Amazing Aimee was gold 💛 so much fun and many laughs ⭐ My brain busy thinking while I was practicing the next day one what I wanna play around with next. I am all good with my no make up face - it tells the story of my years. I am also loving playing around and having fun. Ownership of ones body involves enjoying being in it and how that enjoying is done will look different for different people. We really gotta get over some of the judgement I see in spaces around bodies, not just what they look like but also how how they being lived in. Looking forward to embracing that more and more each day. ❤️ I heard that selfie sticks are pretty dated but despite what people think 👀 I am pretty shy 😳 at talking to people I don't know. So I have been trying to find a solution to taking pictures of myself with things I see when traveling. The Research - a better attempt at explaining the uncomfortable why (CW - details at bottom of outline x ❤️) Before I left Aotearoa I did a bit of working through about that moment of vulnerability I had talking to my motivation for searching my history. I talked with mum, and chatted internally and it felt important to outline this piece a little more. I try hard to live authentically, to live out 'silence is as good as approval' and say the things others may find hard to name in order to support people to not feel alone. 🤗 So I gave it one more attempt.
